Simplecom CM501v2 HDMI to Component Video Converter

Connect a modern HDMI source to a compatible older component display or projector with the Simplecom CM501v2. It converts digital HDMI input into analogue YPbPr component video and left/right stereo audio, supporting video resolutions up to Full HD 1080p.

Keep using a compatible component-equipped screen in your entertainment setup without replacing it solely for an HDMI input. The compact metal enclosure houses the converter, while USB power allows operation from the included wall charger or a suitable USB port.

Check Your Connections Before Ordering

Your source must provide HDMI output and your display must accept YPbPr component video. Component video is not the same as a single yellow composite video connection.

Choose a source resolution supported by your display. Resolution scaling is not specified, so do not assume the converter will automatically adapt an unsupported format. Source, display and protected-content compatibility must also match the listed capabilities. Use two-channel LPCM where required for compatible stereo audio output.

This converter works in one direction only: HDMI source to component display. Component video and stereo audio cables are not listed among the included items.
